I too like the site. They are not trying to make an interactive statement and the style goes very well with their approach. They're not interested in the bells and whistles; their work is sophisticated and complex. They're not a bunch of 25 year old web nerds and have nothing to prove so why should they mimic the vapid trends of a flashy website.
