  I never used my iPhone without it as mine is an US import.
  Just make sure you don't update your firmware when iTunes prompts you to. Also, new big firmware update comes in June/July - not sure if there would be a jailbreak for that version as Apple gets smarter with locking the phones.

  My next iPhone will be an import from a country where there's a provider who officially unlocks the phones - I think Belgium, Poland, Hong Kong. This way it'll still be unlocked after every firmware update.

  • They've already jailbroken a beta version of OS3Devilman
  • They cannot downgrade the baseband though, which is essential for sim-lock.raf
