Sadly enough, journalists today seem to be following that crazy Israel Minister: yesterday it was called swine flu, all of today's papers call it "mexican influenza" (as if it had originated in Mexico and not in pigs). In short, so as not to offend some obscure passage in the Old Testament or the Koran you "insult" an entire living country and modify a scientific denomination. Pretty stupid.
