Rocco was the first to really get the manufacturing side of skateboarding on lock down. Everyone that skated back in those days hated his ass because he made cheap decks that broke all the time. And I was a 130lb toothpick who was going through decks sometimes once a week. Aside from that, those were some great times for skateboarding. Everything was hitting a new level of creativity. I attribute all my creative influences to the early 90's. Most people involved with that culture back then went on to steer the masses in a new direction.
