  flatbush. i used to live there. it's a bike ride away from bed stuy. bed stuy is cheap but sketchy in places. it would only take me 15 minutes to ride from flatbush to the berg. if you live off the Q it only takes 30 min to downtown manhattan and rent is pretty cheap. prospect heights is also good. bushwick in my opinion is over-rated, over-priced, and less interesting. central brooklyn is the best. and if you're on a budget, bed stuy and flatbush are where the artists are living.

  • also, alot of artist are starting to move to bedstuy and flatbush. its really just cheaper. ppl think it's dodgy but flatbush isn't if you're before church ave.free_
