    the internet has clearly eaten itself and is subsequently shitting out big turds if this is what can be considered forward-thinking design...

    I vaguely remember the days when it seemed like intelligent interaction designers might actually be leading the masses into new and exciting directions and seeking new ways to digest content? Kinda seems like everyone is just rolling over and playing dead, embracing this bland and impersonal approach... Making sure the lowest common denominator can find everything simply, easily and without using their brain...

    Personally, I find the approach boring, unauthoritative and just poorly designed...
