Flat tax means ...
... only taxed once
... illegal aliens, criminals and the mega-rich are taxed like the rest of us because they buy shit too
... anybody could understand it and the new tax code could be written on the back of a business card
... the government would save billions in the long run on the cost of running the irs, as they would only need compliance from business
... it's a far more creative, transparent and modern way to tax citizens.I can't imaging how much more the government would make in taxes with the tens of millions that aren't paying now would start to pay in to the system when they buy anything. It could be enough to fund a universal healthcare system and get rid of the insurance companies that fuck us over when we're sick.
