derek... you're very young. you should read my post above.
being a sr. means a lot more responsibility. being an AD or a CD is even more. you could end up landing yourself a job that'll get you in a career breaking bind if you don't have some good industry experience... period.
especially if you work in the entertainment industry whatsoever.
if your ambitious, you could certainly move up very fast. its not uncommon to see very young art directors in their mid 20's. but they too put in their time.
