  Not at all to do with vocals, but there's a bloke called Oren Marshall who plays a customised French Horn or Tuba, which he's rigged up to various home-made effects pedals and analogue loop things and he creates entire pieces of really amazing music through the instrument. Really awesome but hard to track down. Has a really grubby funky (in the proper sense of the word) quality to it. Lovely stuff if you can find some anywhere.
