Hey Dr.B in regards to my above post, I am curious to know how airport security was in Japan vs. the U.S. Was security as tight? Worse? How were you treated?
Just really interested.
My wife and I have wanted to visit Japan for some time now too! I hope we can get out there within the next 2-3 years.

- The Japanese did institute a fingerprinting thing though in response to the US fingerprinting their citizensTheBlueOne
- on tourist visas, so expect to get fingerprinted. And for god sakes don't bring drugs into Japan and don't be rude.TheBlueOne

- It is still a breeze, immigration took about 15 minutes, still have to be fingerprinted and photographed though.DrBombay
