In all seriousness, the reality is that we secured on a publishing deal based on certain parameters for the book. One of these being page-count, which obviously affects the cost-matrix dramatically on a project like this if altered. We were operating with the idea of a set number of participants from the beginning, and the publishing agreement was based on such.

The "list" of participants I've seen referred to here, is/was in no way updated and doesn't reflect the actual list of all people that signed up to participate. So please don't look to that list as a reference for who will ultimately be in the book.

At the end of the day, to put it clearly, we received more entries than we have room for in the book. So, how do we select who's in and who's out? Well, DGV obviously is looking to create as high of a quality product as possible. So are we. Of course we'd rather not have to exclude anyone from being in the book that took the time and effort to participate, but it's simply the situation we're faced with. I hope you understand this.

We want to be absolutely fair to every single submitter, and I can assure you that these rejected selections will be made from a completely democratic voting process between all the people involved - QBN'ers and the publisher.

We should have this part of the process finalized by the end of this week.
