    hey rummy just an opinion..
    .. but have you considered that the interface might actually help you be more creative..

    I used to be a die hard windows classic interface user, xp came about I was like yuk..! I still used the classic theme..

    for some strange unexplained reason.. when I styled my xp interface to emulate a mac, Im suddenly more productive.. no joke..

    forget the ram hogging crap.. put some more ram in that pc or get a mac and enjoy it!

    and dont worry none of this will screw up your colour perception.
