There really is this community of people who are either distrustful of doctors and/or think they have one up on medicine with these types of things.
A friend of mine almost died last year because she felt these homoepathic remedies were the way to go, when she had an ailment easily treatable by doctors. She looked like death and her husband was letting it happen. We actually looked into intervention assistance, but luckily her mother dragged her to a hospital.
I'm not saying there aren't plenty of revitalizing agents in all manners of fruits, plants, etc. Makes total sense. But thinking that one thing is a cure-all or a magical ticket to weight loss is being really fuckin gullible.
