I have this idea about life after death. It's pretty much the correct answer.
Life is nothing special, most life on earth isn't aware that it's not a rock cuz it just has a mechanism for survival and replication. Might as well be a rock if you're that clueless. Humans got lots of neurons though, so they experience this phenomenon called consciousness, that's when a lot of neurons fire signals to each other. They don't wonder whether there is life after death, but if there is consciousness after death, obviously the answer is no, because your neurons can't function.
