Alexa relies mostly on page views (which is kind of a mute parameter) and is very Asia skewed. it relies on a toolbar.
Comscore is much more reliable (and tracks a wise variety of metrics) and it is what advertisers care about.
However, if you want to track for internal analysis – there's omaniture (expensive) and google analytics.
