    Thanks for the tips raf - gonna try some stuff.

    But;

    - I want a black desktop.
    It's not for lazy ubuntians, it's for creative/multimedia types.
    They roll their own gifs.

    Oh come on. Really. This is fucking primitive stuff here. Make a gif? Seriously? You think this is a feature? That's the kind of awful defense for shody workmanship I've come to expect from mac users.
