As much as I get where everyone's coming from - what do you say to those smaller artists that are struggling to get by? They NEED to sell cds. There's no framework for them to make money off digital media and while there probably should be and the RIAA will obviously need to adapt, for the time being many artists would not be able to continue putting stuff out if it wasn't for their meagre cd sales.
