  Recessions are good from time to time. They breed innovation. No one thinks different or is forced to try something new when its easy going.

  Twitter and many of the recent, successful web properties were the result of the tech recession a few years ago. Either people forced to think in new ways, or people with ideas finally having the time to implement them.
