That can be said about circles also. I recently saw a show about Sydney Opera house. It was genius in shape that translates from geometric circle.
The idea of triangle that makes a differentiated shapes and coming together as a whole is repeated in typography and other graphical disciplines.
If I was to continue the path of that shape, I would prefer seeming extruded and more in architectural shapes with physicality of perspective. Not just simple flat shapes that creates another. Add another dimensions to it. You can change the perspective of the shapes as you turn it and it becomes something new. Much like in architecture, you can never see the whole building but its all about perspective.
Say, you make ADC with triangles but use z axis in perspective. As the combined shapes move or turn, it introduces new perspective. When I see that shape I think of opportunity to realize differentiation of shapes in every angle. New angle, new perspective, all around.
