If you think that is racist then you ARE the racist in my opinion - because you are seeing a white man hitting a black man and you are assuming a dominance of the white man.
If you have no race issues whatsoever then you should be seeing that animated gif as one man punching another. The people that make the world even more racist are the Political Correctness brigade. These people are the ones who are distinguishing between races and people.
They are the people who say "why arent there enough coloured/disabled people in this brochure?" etc.
Why SHOULD there be?We arent all equal (meaning in terms of education, social status and not in terms of our humanity). Every single person on the planet is unique and thats what makes us interesting. Thats what makes society interesting and challenging.
If everyone was the same and equal it would be a boring existance. Why shouldnt we be able to point out the differences between people, race, community etc? As long as it isnt done in a negative manor.
Maybe im being racist when I say its the White Political Correctness brigade that are the ones who are TRULY the problem.I remember when they banned nursery rhymes in uk schools - stuff like "baa baa black sheep". I can only presume it was a 'white' suggestion trying to pre-empt any complaints from the black community. The news then showed interviews with coloured uk citizens and they were all like "what the f*ck is the bother about?! - the idea of these nursery rhymes being racist never even entered our heads".
The political correctness brigade are the ones who'd jump on a white comedian for standing up and telling a "not racist joke - but one which pointed out obvious differences between black and white" - yet the SAME brigade wouldnt even entertain the notion of jumping on the likes of Eddie Murphy or Lenny Henry telling a joke that points out the same differences.
The P C Brigade are trying to solve problems that arent there.
Stop pissing about with these stupid laws or restricting what people can say/do and focus on putting an end to REAL racism that exists within extremist groups.
Engage society in communication so they can understand each other rather than having to tiptoe around each other in fear of insulting the other.
The biggest reason for racism in the UK is people not understanding each others cultures and being ignorant to other peoples cultures and what makes them or their cultures unique. So in answer to your question ....
I dont think that animated gif is racist, but I think anyone is racist if they think it is racist.- we've established this is satirekelpie
