art is so subjective, who can really say what it is or what it should be.
to a 3 year old finger painting is art. they aren't exploring anything or pushing the envelope against society or creating anything commercially, just having fun and being creative. does this make it non-art? if you think no, i'd say you're wrong.
the minute you start DEFINING or quantifying art i personally believe that it stops being art.
besides. who cares what people "think" art is. if it's art to you, that's all that counts. screw the "community".
