btw, would any of you kind folks help explain to me what constitutes "business attire?" this is a serious question. there is an event coming up and i've been informed that i need to be dressed in business attire.

- i'd start a thread about it but with the backlash of the apron thread, i don't think i'd be able to deal with moreemukid

- Dark slacks, light shirt, jacket. Tie optional. Or jeans, shirt, tie, jacket. No sneakers / trainers.********

- Evening you can probably get away without a tie.********
- Or a full suit if you feel comfortable in one. It's better to be overdressed than underdressed...
In most cases.******** - okay i guess i should buy a suitemukid
- Never wear jeans. At least not yet. I'd go for option 1 of what pylon said.juhls
- Unless you know the event I'd stay away from the jeans too, unless you're really trying to make some kind of statement.********
