  Why, in the new iphoto (new to me) do I get a huge grey graphical slab in the middle of the screen that shows the date in white out text, twice, and prevents me from seeing my fucking pictures clearly?

  Can anyone help me to get rid of that shit? I've been through all the menus but can't get it to FUCKING GO AWAY.
