i guess its a matter of habit.
the placement of the most commonly pressed key combos for me for example.

using ctrl+c/v/b/h and shift-f/t/g with left little finger - point finger.
alt tab with what on mac is command key.
combos using alt/command key is put on top left of the qwerty so you use left thumb on alt and left pointer. this is all good stretches and no fingers get bent under the hand or eachother.

however. when whats usually bound to the alt/command key is moved to the option key one key to the left. i find my thumb constantly being stretched under the palm of my hand for example.

to me that would be a bad thing, and especially placing a commonly used key in between two others. rather than having them to the far left of the keyboard and next to the space bar for good spacing and ergonomics.

Like someone stated further back in this post, this is stuff you probably would not notice unless you spend time with both setups. Nor is it something you suffer from if you never had to change. Again this is no bashing im just trying to get around my issues
