Don't get a flatscreen if you do lots of web work - the color/brightness is not acurate of what your mass audience sees on regular CRTs. My boss says at least once a week "can u make the color just a little darker" and I take him to my monitor each time and explain that this is what the audience sees.
Dual monitor setup is much cooler too - I don't know why - it just is :) I leave outlook/NTD open on my right monitor all day and all my palettes/timelines sit on the right screen.
