gemma restaurant at the bowery hotel is worth checking for dinner or breakfast. amazing interior and outdoor dining as well. trendy enough to be fun but not trendy enough to be lame...at least when I was there this last summer.
the bowery hotel has a cool lounge bar area too. lots of big cushiony chairs, good looking people, very chill and classy vibe, lots of creatives come through there, hot girls, fashy dudes, models, occasional movie stars...pretty relaxed still though...they have a killer gin and tonic with hendricks? gin. most people get pretty sloppy there ;)
