  We generally just do a separate style-sheet for IE6 to fix its myriad of eccentricities, including replacing the PNGs with GIFs (no alpha blends, etc).
  Have also used this: http://www.twinhelix.com/css/iep… but it's just as reliable to build out separate stylesheets for IE6.
