  low polygon models.. 8-bit sounds and graphics.. are all old techniques that are used today for nostalgic effect.

  But.. I don't think this applies..

  You don't hear architects saying "Man.. I'm going to build a building with asbestos insulation because that's the way they used to do it in the old days"

  or a trucker saying.. "Lets do this wagon caravan styleeee"

  I was on here the other day and someone posted an animated gif of a video.. and I was like WTF is THIS!?!!? 1997?

  Whats next.. an "under construction" section of the website with an gif of a guy digging and a little "construction ahead" sign?

  Where do we draw the line here?!? Growing oversized brows and dressing in hides, walking around with our knuckles on the ground caring around a blunt wooden clubs with which to pulverize our meat?
