If you're planning on less than 100k then you'll need a roomate or two if you want to live in williamsburg or the east village. Unless you want to live in a tiny studio somewhere in a chancy neighborhood. Other places in Brooklyn will be cheaper. You can do it for around 60k, but comfortable it will not be my friend.
