Why do you find it okay that food and shelter be a profitable commodity?? What makes medical care so much different from those? They're necessities and people make money providing them.
As much as I despise how our government has nearly mandated into existence the current beast: insurance industry. Putting the government in charge is definitely a compound mistake that will cost us soooo much more money, not to mention opening the doors to further legislation possibly taking away more freedoms.
