You'll find print based graphic designers working within the Art Dept before and during the filming of a movie, but then they finish, the movie goes into post-production and usually a whole new creative team step in to deal with marketing, posters etc.
Sometimes themes established by the designers within the movies may make it through to the marketing graphics(evil company logos etc), but not too often.
