My aunt's sister's ex-husband tried to commit suicide on Sunday. He came out of the closet to his family a couple years ago. He was obviously gay and I have no idea how the wife didn't know. They were like the perfect family, had money, nice house, good jobs. But after he told everyone he was gay everything was a mess. They got divorced, as you can imagine, and apparently he had given his wife herpes or something.
Anyway, right now he's at the hospital and will be a vegetable for the rest of his life (I guess he tried to overdose or something). I really feel bad for his three kids. They grew up in a rich home and used to come off kind of snobby whenever we'd visit them on holidays, but I spent some time with them a couple months ago and they're really down to earth (one in High School and 2 in college). They've already gone through so much... they didn't deserve this.
