    Works like this...

    You have buttons for each "region", meaning what area the button will follow.

    When you are in this region it will, probably via button, change a bit of action script that would be set up like this.

    >attach an MC to the mouse
    >make the little box follow that MC with a delay
    >onRollout, stop following
    >If another region is entered, switch which box is to follow the mouse MC

    As for code specifics, I can post it if you need it. It's really just a mouse trailer with a delay effect and some activation for specific areas
