so, been planning a bit of a road trip for april, and i've just now started to look for the car i want to hire, thinking i should be able to get something nice and vintage for a grand and a half for a week.
this kind of thing...
not so, they all start at about $400-$600 a day.
first world problems though eh.
- Where are you going on your road-trip?NotByHand
- just around california and nevada.********
- i just want to play at being thelma and louise.********
- Ah, nice. You should get a convertible, for sure.NotByHand
- Well, there are lots of lovely cliffs to drive off of in Nevada.NotByHand
- hertz has got a decent assortment of rental convertibles in california. The 'vette is fun — had it last July.********
- yeah, could go modern easy enough, wanted something that steers like a boat though.********
- Trust me, the corvette works best in a straight line.********
- try to find something with more chrome. chrome is the way for you to gokelpie
- doesn't la give you hardcore car envy? that looks great!_salisae_
- haha, yeah, i drive a corolla.********
- skt I reckon you fit a corolla in the trunk of that thing. On the plus side, gas is cheap if you're renting a monster like that.********
