According to women I have talked to, if they do part their hair, they choose one side over the other because it just feels "right" and the opposite side feels strange. Or it's because they like one side of their face more than the other. I tried the other side today. Not too bad, actually. It's a bit weird to have my hair fall near my left eye instead of my right one, but I'm not extra clumsy or anything.
