Well, with this credit crunch we definitely will see survival of the fittest happening within graphic design.
Theres already a big dip in the print design work being comissioned by clients as they see the web as being a more cost effective way to communicate.
Hopefully the recession will make clients want quality work done rather than just opting for the cheapest quote they get. They want to see results from the money they are spending so will go with 'the better' companies that actually work effectively and give you something that works FOR you rather than going for the cheapest quote from some halfassed company.
