  When I have children (legitimately) I won't push them to drink, but I'll do the same thing my mother did when I entered the work force. She told me, "Never turn down a drink, and never start the last round."

  I never thank her enough for that logic, as you get so much out of your peers and people in higher positions than yourself.

  Granted she's a lush like me, but I swear if that was the only advice I've ever been given - it's the only advice I'd feel warranted to give.
