Well, the guy was saying that he respected jesus for the years when he was a dedicated jew and taught/spread the word.
He then suggested that jesus in his later years got judas to betray him so that he would be killed and thus become a hero/martyr. like it was all planned, then the disciples/apostles then go on and spread the word - creating a new religion, bending truths and turning the world against jews by portraying them as the "traitors" in the writings of the bible. Leading to the Jew Ghetto in Rome where jews were made to stay and persectuted for being jewish.
This was the part of christianity that the nazis picked up on and ran with. Although the guy did stress he wasnt comparing christianity and the nazis.Im not a religious person, the things that bugd me personally about christianity is the fact that the bible was written over many years by many people. There is no way that man could write such a thing without distortions, lies along the way and exadurated truths.
So to me this program helped confirm that - and made me think that if i ever wanted to confide or believe in a religion then it would definitely be Judaism over Christianity.Hope this is part of a series, looking forward to catching the whole thing again tonight.
