figure drawing is essential to anyone who translates visual ideas through their hands. The product is by far the least important aspect. like exercising the body, figure drawing is an exercise routine for your mind. It works out your creativity as well as hand-eye coordination... and can really get the juices flowing. I recommend going at least once a week. (spring street studio, nyc - best models, and no they're not hot)
