Well, it’s turning out to be one of those roller-coaster-type days. After the disappointment of losing my only client yesterday, I get a call this morning from a former client of my boss’ telling me they have heaps of work and they are “moving on” from their current freelance designer. Meetings have been arranged.
Then, I get an email from a friend who tells me I am on p82 of “Best of Brochure Design 10”!
Then I get an email from a friend I haven’t spoken to for 21 years!! She’s singing in a show at the Performing Arts Centre and has shot me a couple of tickets.
And since I’m technically on holidays, I have been playing Mario Kart on the GameCube all morning!
Dope.
