What I am attempting to convey is that the Islamic world is in an acute state of upheaval for a variety of reasons but primarily due a failure to come to terms with the modern world. Israel happens to be on the knife-edge of that turmoil.
It is you who need to look at the big picture and think about why so many of the world's trouble spots involve Islamic countries.
When the Russians leveled Grozny were you organizing or marching in violent street protests?
What makes the Israel/Palestine conflict so special for you?
