  You don't need to edit the wp-config file with version 2.7, the first time you configure wordpress, it asks you if you'd like to create it and offers a form to input the info...

  • That wasn't very clear. I mean, forget the wp-config file totally and just goto /wp-admin when you've copied everything overkalkal
  • WP will guide you the rest of the way. Obviously just have your database info readykalkal
