my previous neighbor was really loud and disrespectful so when he moved out and a new neighbor moved in i made sure to knock on his door, welcome him and let him know i was open to being friends. not only did he not play loud music but he checked my mail while i was out of town and let me use his parking space when needed.
he even kept in mind that his bedroom window required shutting when his girl was over and being raunchy in the bedroom. haha
