ok update since my last post for the interested:
• #1 and #2 have started to become friends instead of acquaintances
• #1 is still talking to some guy long distance but due to work I doubt anything more than telephone convo has happened
• By some funny ironic twist of fate, #2 wanted to go out and talked to #1 and then #2 asked me if I wanted to go to dinner with BOTH of them. I went because I thought a funny story could happen. The only thing that happened was it was awkward for me and girl #1 didn't know I had been hanging out with #2 so much– and vice versa.
• Things are escalating with #2. And I'm perfectly happy with it. Turns out we have great chemistry, share the same sense of humor and she treats me better than any other girl has.
• #1 seems a bit eager to hang out and do stuff but I think it's just because she's still new to town and we haven't hung out in a while.
• To elaborate on something I said in my last posts ("There isn't any chemistry between me and #1")– There just isn't. We share interests, she's a great catch but every time we hang out there are no sparks. It took me a really long time to realize that because I probably lied to myself like most people do when they meet someone new. But to keep you guys on edge I guess there is a small chance that we could both still be tip toeing and nervous around each other still ;)
