I dont know how many other place you have worked but say you held relevant positions at two other places prior to this place. All you really have to do is grab about two reference from both places. It helps if they are on the management side of things or were your supervisor. If you know they will paint you in a positive light it doesnt matter that you tell the new company you were fired. Most will understand it proably was a certain person at your last company and not you. The same thing about wether you are an ass or not in the workplace. If you work for a company, and 2 people dont like you but the other 98 do, chances are those 2 people are the problem. If like 20 people dont like you... well you probably need to take a long look in the mirror.
