The book project Horp, Janne, and I have gotten the ball rolling on, originated from this thread: http://www.qbn.com/topics/574182….
The idea (in a nutshell) is to compile QBN members' personal logos in book form, as it has become apparent that there’s a substantial interest among designers to see how other designers promote their own identity. It would be a great resource to gather all these logos in a reference piece - in some way much like a “Los Logos” of sorts, but entirely done by and with work of people from QBN.
One of the fundamental and driving motivators for the project, is that we would like to donate all proceeds from sales of the book to Patrick O’Brien (Transfatty) in support of him and his inspirational film project (http://www.patrickobrienfoundat...
A goal is to find vendor donations for most if not all of the costs involved. I personally have good connections in both the print and publishing industries, and have already received some exciting feedback from just loosely mentioning the idea. Obviously others of you have great contacts as well, and I believe that we collectively should be able to pull this off. Mike's idea of a 'cost per submission' is certainly also good in my opinion.

moamoa - I think that's entirely possible, Marco. The idea is to make a book that display how QBN designers promote themselves.NotByHand
