I disagree with the steak&liquors idea that the barneys audience is a bunch of untech savvy 56k bound users. I think if you can afford to throw down 350.00 for a duffel bag or 5700 on a phone you probably have at least cable internet in your home and your probably pretty "hip" so youve been well versed in all the latest gadgets, so they could probably figure out the navigation. I think a user who buys from barney's expects more. The store, the site, the shopping bags all need to tell the customer they are cut above the average joe.
That being said I agree the shop and the experience should be seperate, but even the store could (and should) look better than that and could definately be better organized.
I could go on but i already feel geeky enough going this far.
