Help! - iDvd fuckery

  Yeah... all of these are basically saying the same thing. That iDVD works for files under 3hrs and will compress them appropriately.. but my problem still lies in that even though when i omit almost %90 of the content the dvd is still way too big and wont let me save it as a disc_image or video_ts files. It's just not a powerful DVD authoring product.. it's basically made for idiots.
