The oldest designer I know is four hundred years of age. He lives alone in a cave on the beach. He eats teeth in his cave, and nuts and bolts and crustaceans and anything he can find. He mutters dark and unsettling things under his breath while he sits, cosy at a fire made from discarded boots and the rended carcasses of fallen houses. Some would say he's mad, that he thinks he lives in Happy Fairy Land, but I know that he's got life all worked out.
