I am in good standing with my loans , even went back to school and I am paying that out of pocket , so why do I want the government to help me, well
they set the ground work with this financial trillion dollar bail out,
government is set up for the sole purpose to move a society forward , not just a selective few. It just seems to a lot that there is a big disconnect between government and middle and working class citizens. Paying of the interest on loans, cutting out the interest rates on student loans, there is a lot of ways to help with out actually giving anyone money.The whole "Economy Scare" comes down to people are just not spending, or investing as much as before. Well put more money in the pockets of the everyday folks. Folks that actually want to better themselves , but have to work 2-3 jobs just to pay for college. Anyone who says they students do not work hard and they want freebies, is not looking at the overall picture. Debt to obtain a Medical Degree, or Law degree, to become a Architect , a computer scientist etc.. is a whole lot different than debt to buy a 50 inch LCD
